HS Senior Scholarship ReceptionThe Friends will present this year’s HS Senior Library Volunteer Scholarship recipient, Khrish Shah, with his award at an informal event. Please RSVP before May 4 to be included.
Scholarship award presentation to be followed with some Friends organizational updates and then a meet and greet. Light refreshments will be served.

Annual Mini Book SaleIt’s our “Ten Table Mini Book Sale”. We’re planning a very small book sale of ONLY BOOKS on about 10 tables inside FLPL. Books in all languages for children, teens/YA, and adults will be accepted. No CDs, DVDs, games, LPs, etc. Just books!

What’s being renovated? Phase 1 and 2 include something for everyone:

Completely renovated Meeting Room (Phase 1)
Brand new cafe (Phase 1)
Technology Training Lab with new computers and classes (Phase 1)
Small study/work rooms for patrons (Phase 1 + 2)
More meeting/conference rooms (Phase 1 + 2)
New Children’s Center (Phase 2)
NEW room for children’s programs & expanded space (Phase 2)
Teen Room, enclosed for some sound reduction (Phase 2)
Noise reduction (Phase 2)

Fresh flooring, new furniture, and new lighting (Phase 1 + 2)

This project is being supported, in whole or in part, by federal award number CPFFNO185 awarded to the State of New Jersey by the U.S. Department of Treasury.

Donate to the Renovation

Because of our members’ contributions plus donations from the general public, as of March 2025, the Friends have raised $274,000+ towards the estimated $4.2 million goal to fund Phase 2 of the Renovation. Let’s build our new library, TOGETHER !
